When it comes to entrusting your boat to a boatyard, safety is a primary concern. GCCM understands the importance of maintaining a safe and secure environment for all our customers, business partners, crew and vessels, in the marina and in the shipyard. Our Safety manager has implemented stringent safety measures and protocols to protect vessels in their care. From advanced security systems to comprehensive staff training, we prioritise the safety and security of every boat on our premises.
Comprehensive Security Measures
24-Hour On-site Security
We maintain a controlled access system to ensure only authorised personnel can enter the facility. The entry points are monitored 24/7 by security staff who patrol the facility and are trained to handle a variety of situations, from emergencies to routine security checks. This controlled access prevents unauthorised entry and ensures that only boat owners, approved contractors, and the staff at GCCM can access the boats and facilities. Their presence ensures a swift response to any incidents and provides an additional layer of protection for all vessels on the premises.
CCTV Coverage
To further enhance security, we have installed an extensive network of CCTV cameras throughout the boatyard. These cameras provide comprehensive coverage of the entire facility, including storage areas, maintenance zones, and entry points. The footage is monitored around the clock, ensuring that any suspicious activity is detected and addressed promptly. This surveillance system acts as a powerful deterrent to theft and vandalism, giving boat owners peace of mind.
Safety Protocols and Housekeeping
Staff Training
At GCCM, we strongly emphasise staff training to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained. All employees undergo regular training programs that cover safety protocols, emergency procedures, and best practices for handling and maintaining boats. This training ensures that staff are well-equipped to manage any situation and can provide expert care for each vessel.
Housekeeping Reminders
To maintain a safe and orderly environment, GCCM has established a set of housekeeping reminders for everyone on the site:
Safety
Your safety and the safety of others is our highest priority.
