Mobile Emergency Response Vehicle (MERV)

MERV is a permanent resident of Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard. This emergency responce vehicle is on hand at a moments notice. Marina staff are highly trained in the operation of this vehicle.

Fire & Emergency Training Excercises

In the unlikely event of an emergency, Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard is well prepared by regularly working in conjunction with WASP Creek Rural Fire Brigade & Helensvale Fire Station by conducting "scenario based" training exercises. For example:
- A superyacht shed fire
- Chemical and/or hazardous materials accidents

Full trauma centers and command centers are set up as part of the exercises.
